Traditional Vendor Support:
  • ConceptWaves sells licences to use the software
  • You invest effort and money in "running" and "maintaining" the servers/ application
  • ConceptWaves will troubleshoot problems and fix them (if you have an AMC)
Managed Services and Support:
  • ConceptWaves "manages" running of the server/application
  • You just "use" the service being offered
  • ConceptWaves will take complete ownership for the system uptime and maintenance

We at ConceptWaves believe in providing world class support - during and after the software rollout.

The kind of support we provide can be broadly classified into two categories. You can choose any one of the options listed below.

Option 1: Traditional Software Vendor Support:
In this option, you can buy and host the software at your own data-center. We will customize/build the product for you for your specific requirements before deploying it at your data-center. You can opt for an Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) with ConceptWaves on a yearly basis for its maintenance.

Option 2: Strategic Technology Partnership with Managed Service Offering:
In this Managed Service Offering (MSO) option, you buy a "service" from ConceptWaves as against a 'CD with code on it'! Once we roll out a product for your specific requirements, you need not worry about hosting and maintaining the software. We will do that for you and you will be provided a simple URL/link with a user Id and password. Simply visit the URL/link, login and enjoy the service for a monthly fee. Note that no additional AMC needs to be paid above the monthly fee that you pay for hosting the service for you.

While we extend our support in both the options listed above, ConceptWaves recommends Option 2 of Managed Service Offering (MSO) over Option 1 of Traditional Software Vendor support because of the following advantages that we see for our customers over Option 1.

  • NO additional AMC
  • Minimum upfront costs compared to the Traditional vendor relationship
  • You do NOT need to invest in Hardware
  • You do NOT need to worry about maintenance infrastructure like 24/7 power supply, bandwidth, uptime etc
  • You need NOT hire a Maintenance engineer to maintain the server

In other words, if you opt for MSO, you can fully focus on your core competency and we will handle technology end-to-end for you.
