Impact is our product to deal with villages, crops and farmers in the Livelihoods space. Impact is built around the concept of using cheap mobiles to collect data from the farms and later centrally processing the data to give insights into crops/productivity and other logistics.

Naandi Foundation is one of our bigger customers that uses our Impact framework. Naandi staff members roam across several (more than 500) villages and buy Coffee beans from Tens of thousands of Farmers in and around Araku valley. They use our mobile application called CoffeSquare to punch in all these details while on the field.

CoffeeSquare is equipped to handle even yield estimates before the coffee collection starts. The mobile application is capable of handling financial transactions with the farmers as well.

The information collected on the mobile application is transferred to a central server using a simple gprs connection.

The staff at the coffee processing unit analyze the data and get themselves ready to handle the seeds as they come in. Later various parameters are measured at various stages of coffee processing is captured in the system. The logistics are covered till the processed beans leave the field.
